Job Title: HR Operations Manager
This role involves leading the development of ER/IR policies, Enterprise Bargaining negotiations, and consultation processes. As the key point of contact for unions, legal experts, and government bodies, you will ensure that our commitment to a safe, compliant, and high-performing workforce is upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guide the People & Culture team, promoting positive behaviours and supporting staff development.
* Lead high-level negotiations, including Enterprise Bargaining, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act.
* Build strong relationships with unions, legal counsel, and government bodies like the Fair Work Commission.
* Shape and maintain ER/IR policies, responding to emerging industrial issues.
* Manage a small team, supporting wellbeing, engagement, and performance.
* Monitor and report on workforce risks, emerging trends, and compliance with industrial instruments.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A tertiary qualification in Employee Relations, HR, Business, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven expertise in Enterprise Bargaining and ER/IR negotiation processes.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience coaching and developing leadership capabilities in ER/IR practices.
* The ability to navigate complex ER/IR issues and develop strategic solutions.
* A respectful and empathetic approach, especially when dealing with diverse teams and challenging situations.
