Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028 CNC C (ZA7-ZA8)

32 hours per fortnight

Part Time, Permanent

ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to expand their career as the Respiratory Clinical Nurse Consultant and join the Specialists Consulting Suites Team at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide Respiratory Nursing consultations, conduct lung function testing and assessments and contribute to treatment plans.
2. Liaise with the treatment team to ensure Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable, Patient-centred (STEEEP) care for people experiencing lung conditions.
3. Identify opportunities to strengthen service systems to ensure innovation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
4. Prepare written reports for the treatment team in accordance with the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS).
5. Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice relevant to the role.
6. Participate in Departmental and organisational meetings as required.

Qualifications/experience required:

1. Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated experience and skills in chronic condition assessments including respiratory nursing management and care coordination.
3. Postgraduate studies relevant to Respiratory Nursing.
