About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Adelaide, SA. We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
* Inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems will be key responsibilities of this role.
* Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment will require attention to detail and technical knowledge.
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken is crucial for ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment requires manual dexterity and technical skills.
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment is essential for ensuring the safety of passengers and crew.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type), a Trade Certificate IV in Mechanical, Structures or Avionics, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We are looking for someone who is available to work flexible shifts, including early/late and night shifts, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate can expect competitive remuneration ($91,818 - $99,840 p.a., excluding superannuation) and opportunities to complete training with our accredited development/education provider.
