As a Fully Remote Relief Strata Manager within PICA Group, you'll play a key role in ensuring continuity, stability, and confidence for strata communities across Australia. Supporting portfolios during periods of leave, transition, or increased demand, you'll provide calm, capable leadership that keeps schemes compliant, financially healthy, and well‐managed.
Working remotely, you'll step into portfolios with confidence, quickly understanding scheme requirements, maintaining momentum, and supporting committees through governance decisions, financial matters, and day-to-day operations. This role suits an experienced Strata Manager who thrives on variety, works comfortably and effectively in a remote environment, and can balance service delivery with sound commercial judgment across different portfolios and time zones.
What you'll do:
* Provide end‐to‐end strata management support across residential and community schemes on a relief basis, fully remote
* Step into existing portfolios while maintaining service continuity and stakeholder confidence
* Deliver clear legislative and governance advice to support committee decision‐making
* Chair and lead AGMs, EGMs, and committee meetings virtually with structure and professionalism
* Oversee maintenance, compliance, and capital works activities during relief periods
* Manage disputes and sensitive matters using a calm, solutions‐focused approach
* Maintain financial oversight including budgets, levies, and approvals
* Collaborate with branch and support teams nationally to deliver consistent outcomes
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience managing strata or body corporate portfolios independently
* Strong working knowledge of strata legislation and the confidence to apply it remotely
* A current eligible Class 2 Strata License (or willingness to obtain at company expense)
* Ability to step into new portfolios quickly and build trust remotely
* Strong virtual meeting leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Clear, professional communication particularly in complex or disputed matters
* Sound financial capability with confidence explaining budgets and impacts to owners
* A highly organised and self‐directed approach suitable for remote work
What's in it for you:
* Flexibility: A truly remote role — work from anywhere in Australia
* Growth: Training, development, and career pathways across PICA Group
* Challenge: Exposure to varied portfolios that keep your skills sharp
* Belonging: Strong national team connection with collaborative support
