Be a Technical Leader
As a Staff Engineer in our SRE team, you'll design and implement large-scale solutions, influencing senior stakeholders on modern best practices for improving reliability throughout the SDLC.
We offer flexible working arrangements, including half your time spent in office and other options like changing start and finish times or part-time arrangements.
We're Looking for Experts Who
* Partner with senior stakeholders to lead a data-driven culture of reliability, monitoring, and automation aligned to SRE principles.
* Show experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications and systems.
* Are passionate about managing and scaling distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
* Enjoy creating tools for operational management, including security, of software applications and systems.
* Adept at identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and processes, using software engineering to develop scalable and sustainable improvements.
Skill Requirements
We use various tools, languages, and frameworks; experience with some of these will set you up for success:
* Software engineering expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Golang, Python).
* Strong experience with modern software development practices using tools like git, TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy or similar.
* Leadership experience with teams driving outcomes using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics.
* Extensive knowledge of Linux internals, networking, containers, and troubleshooting.
* Experience applying SRE Practices in large organisations and excellent Communication and Problem-Solving skills.
