E&I Commissioning Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned E&I Commissioning Engineer to join our Operations team in Darwin. The successful candidate will have prior commissioning experience in either Onshore or Offshore LNG within an EPCM engineering environment.
This is a permanent role available as full-time or part-time (job share) basis.
About the Job
* Design and develop commissioning strategies for complex projects.
* Work closely with engineers and vendors in the design phases to align with commissioning activities.
* Provide technical commissioning input to deliver commissioning and execution.
* Supervise some site commissioning activities.
* Create and carry out test procedures.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction by consistently displaying and enforcing Wood values and behaviours.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Electrical & Instrumentation (or a tertiary qualification supported with 5+ years of relevant industry experience).
* Proven experience in a similar role as an E&I Commissioning Engineer within a Brownfield EPC, ESC or EPCM environment.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Previous experience in a role of commissioning engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team.
* Experience of interpreting discipline documentation.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS) and Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDS).
* Good knowledge and understanding of technical specifications.
