1. Housekeeping Attendants (Casual)
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring guests have a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Key responsibilities include:
* Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms
* Replenishing guest amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linen
* Ensuring all rooms are presented neatly and consistently in line with brand standards
* Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department
* Managing time efficiently to complete assigned rooms within required timeframes
* Handling guest requests and interacting professionally with guests when required
* Maintaining cleanliness of public areas and housekeeping storage rooms as needed
* Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
* Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
2. Maintenance Staff (Casual)
As a Maintenance Staff member, you are responsible for ensuring the hotel’s facilities are safe, functional, and well-presented at all times. Your key duties include:
* Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms and public areas (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting)
* Performing routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
* Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments
* Ensuring all equipment, fixtures, and systems are operating efficiently
* Conducting preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and extend asset life
* Maintaining hotel grounds, back-of-house areas, and external spaces
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
* Keeping accurate records of maintenance work completed and reporting major issues
* Coordinating with external contractors when required
* Assisting in emergency situations and ensuring safety procedures are followed
* Availability to work Saturdays is essential.
