Your role
You will have responsibility for leading the following:
- Lead and model evidence based pedagogical strategies specifically, Explicit Direct Instruction and Digital Innovation across all learning areas, resulting in improved student learning outcomes.
- Actively lead and build leadership capacity by providing ongoing professional development to improve curriculum outcomes for students with a specific focus on English, maths, digital innovation and student well-being.
- Work collaboratively with staff to plan and deliver curriculum as per school processes.
- Lead and support specific projects within the school community to operationalise the development, implementation and evaluation of system and school initiatives specifically English, maths, digital innovation and student well-being.
- Provide coaching(model,co-teach and feedback) and guidance to teachers and teacher aides in delivering teaching and learning/programs.
- Develop teacher capability that is needs based and provides on-going support to teachers.
- Improve the capacity of school-based teams to use evidence-based assessment, supporting staff in the analysis and response to systemic and student data.
- Analyse school data sets and work with leaders to prioritise strategic directions.
- Work with other leaders to prioritise the teaching of strategies and programs within the school's curriculm and pedagogy framework.
- Particpate in relevant networks as negotiated with the principal.
- Lead strategies to maximise student achievement and support other school and/or departmental initiatives as required.
- Contribute actively to the school's leadership team.
