Digital Producer Callout: ABC Creator Program

Responsibilities 
- Produce engaging videos for younger audiences across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. 
- Collaborate with creators to pitch, ideate, research, script, shoot, edit and animate creative formats across specialist genres. 
- Turn around videos quickly in an agile, end-to-end way from ideation to packaging and posting. 
- Work as a flexible, positive team player to reach new audiences across ABC charter areas. 
What you will need 
- Talented digital producers who live and breathe YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. 
- Experience across the digital content lifecycle and ability to work across multiple platforms. 
- Based in Sydney; available for part-time and full-time contracts for approximately 12 months. 
- Salary range $77K - $105K pro rata (depending on experience). 
About the ABC Creator Program 
The ABC Creator Program builds on the 2024 Creator Program, which saw creators make ABC TV debuts, develop digital series, receive mentorship, and host ABC podcasts. Their content achieved over 120 million views from young Australians. The program opens pathways for Gen Alpha, Gen Z and millennials to join the ABC and work across key genre areas. 
Examples of commissioned content 
- Aslan Pahari’s explainers on history, religion and geography, including a YouTube video on the Siege of Mecca and an upcoming podcast. 
- Science, economics and engineering projects with Maddie Massy, Julian O’Shea, Lena Tuck with Dr Karl, Sharath Mahendran and Janice Fung. 
- Comedy and arts/culture reporting from Tom Ford, Lena Tuck and Tom Forrest. 
- Art History explainers with Mary McGillivray. 
- First Nations history and culture with Manuel Pamkal and Tom Forrest (in partnership with ABC Indigenous).
