About the Job
* The Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager oversees project lifecycle phases, focusing on safety, quality, environmental, and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate comprehensive planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring to deliver projects according to scope.
2. Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and profit and loss reporting.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
4. Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors, fostering effective communication throughout the process.
5. Implement and monitor project-specific WHS and environmental management plans, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in engineering or project management roles, including at least 2 years in Australia.
* Prior experience in civil infrastructure, FRP, or rebar is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope, with a solid understanding of reinforcement, temporary works, and prefabrication techniques.
* Proven experience in managing commercial risks and client relationships, with a degree in Engineering or a related field.
Skills and Attributes
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and CAD software.
* Familiarity with project management and quality assurance systems, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
