Responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with colleagues throughout the organisation to establish and uphold systems and procedures, while also analysing data to create a secure environment for both staff and other stakeholders in the workplace and other settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement Safety & Wellness Work Health and Safety Plan
2. Collaborate with stakeholders for safety compliance
3. Develop sustainable safety programs
4. Assist in incident response and investigations
5. Ensure WHS communication and consultation
6. Provide guidance to Safety Representatives
7. Deliver internal health and safety training
8. Promote hazard identification and correction
9. Contribute to health and safety management system
10. Identify WHS aspects in strategic plans
11. Promote risk management best practices
12. Embed safety strategies for a high-performance culture
13. Foster a customer service culture
14. Enable managers to be responsible for their areas
What you'll need to succeed:
You must be a team player that works at a high standard and is looking to make a difference
Cert 4 WHS or related qualification
3+ years of Health and Safety experience
Proficient in Qld WHS legislation
Skilled in hazard, risk, and incident management using ICAM or similar methods
Queensland C class provisional driver's licence
