A well-established and growing Australian mining company with WA operations is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the finance team. This is a hands-on, high-volume AP role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working autonomously, and delivering accurate outcomes under pressure. You will be joining a supportive finance team and stepping into a well-structured environment where you can add immediate value. Key Responsibilities High-volume processing of supplier invoices (approx. 60–70 per day) Reviewing and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution Maintaining supplier master data Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers About You Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable mining environments Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting Confident communicator with a proactive approach Full Australian working rights required Experience with SAP S/4HANA (recent SAP in mining considered) Particulars Location: Perth (office-based) Hours: Full-time Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 superannuation commensurate with experience and capabilities Duration: 12 months fixed-term contract Requirement to complete medical and National Police Check Interested?
