Six Degrees are partnering with one of Australia's leading Automation & Robotics specialist providers to assist them in sourcing a Control system Engineer who specialises in Firmware. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple projects and project teams and provide support to some of Australia's best known manufacturing organisations.
This role involves:
* Product Development & Delivery
* Research & Development
* Design of Electronics & PCB's
* Technical support to the manufacturing team.
* Training & Mentoring
* Industry Best Practice
To be successful you will possess:
* Demonstrated results in successful Engineering, Project, Service, and/or Manufacturing Management (or equivalent).
* Familiarity in using CAD & other relevant design software
* Electronics/PCB design experience
* Competency with embedded design including coding for micro-controllers
* Competency with PC based programming in C#, C++ or other modern language
* Competency with automation devices and systems
* Ability with machine vision highly regarded
* Mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical and pneumatic circuits.
