The role
Job Summary
Manage and oversee the Commissioning, Assurance, Completions, and Handover from concept to completion and handover. Provide technical and managerial oversight of activities relating to planning, development, and delivery of the relevant scope. Coordinate with other projects, sectors, and subsequent design and delivery contractors, ensuring the project can be tested sequentially to optimise safety, quality, schedule and cost.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead coordination with area teams to identify and resolve site-wide construction and related interfaces and issues.
- Monitor, manage and coordinate the integration of works carried out by stakeholders and contractors.
- Keep contractors, internal stakeholders and other relevant parties informed of the timing and nature of any proposed or planned works.
- Develop reporting material using POWER BI dashboards, BIM models, construction documentation, construction programs, etc., to support interface works with stakeholders and assess and close out site-wide construction completion issues.
- Ensure contractor handover documentation programs meet contract requirements and project targets, and are consistent for the assigned area.
- Identify and resolve program-wide technical or process issues related to completions program.
- Ensure effective communication of the status of stakeholder activities across the Airport Site, including production of communication material and hosting meetings, briefings or other means of communication.
- Work closely with Delivery colleagues to address commercial and technical issues and follow-up documentation as issues arise.
- Contribute to established project processes to manage change control, contractual compliance or other management processes.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Computer literate in MS Office and database applications.
- Experience on Airport Operational Readiness teams on new terminal facilities at large domestic or international airports.
- Understanding of ORAT testing concepts through experience in supporting or executing operational trials.
- Proficient knowledge of project Commissioning & Completion processes and procedures.
- Ability to influence and engage in a collaborative working environment with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining necessary levels of commercial awareness.
