Based in Western Sydney, our client is a Technology Solutions business seeking an experienced SAP Financial Accountant
Your new role
This will be a 6-8 month maternity leave cover.
As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
The financial reporting, maintenance, bookkeeping, account reconciliation and analysis of the general ledger and books of original entry including month end close accounting activities.
Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, financial schedules and other financial reports.
Analysis of trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred for quarter-end and year-end.
Ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, SOX and all other accounting regulations.
Maintaining and documenting internal accounting controls and maintaining records and journals, including payroll.
Assist as necessary in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue.
Provide guidance and support for both internal and external audits (adhoc, quarterly and annual).
Provide billing and collection for intercompany accounts.
Month end work including accruals and prepayments
Cash flow forecasting
GST/FBT returns
Support purchase ledger overhead invoices and payments
Provide support for system conversions, integrations, and other special projects.
Ad-hoc duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be CPA or CA, have previous experience in a similar role using SAP, able to commit for the term of this assignment and have strong time management skills
