Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Transport Allocator to join their Melbourne operation, based in Chiping Norton. About the Role Working alongside experienced operators, you will be coordinating FCL import and export container movements while supporting day-to-day transport operations. Key Responsibilities Assist in coordinating FCL import and export container movements Support truck allocation and liaise with drivers Manage container slot bookings across wharf and container parks Apply container numbers to bookings (training provided) Assist with container de-hires via Containerchain Maintain accurate updates in the transport management system Support fleet coordination and optimisation Complete administrative tasks including: Driver run sheet checks Monitoring tolls, waiting time, and fuel usage Provide general operational support as required About You early-career professional in logistics, supply chain, or related field Some exposure to transport, warehousing, or logistics environments is advantageous Familiarity with 1-Stop or Containerchain is a bonus Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with a team-oriented mindset Eager to learn and build a career in the logistics industry Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment What’s on Offer Full training and mentoring from experienced industry professionals Clear pathway for career progression within transport and logistics Supportive and collaborative team culture Exposure to global freight operations Role Details Full-time, Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts (onsite in Epping)
