Life Activities Club Geelong Inc. (LACG) is a not for profit incorporated organisation, seeking a Treasurer for its Committee of Management, effective from its upcoming Annual General Meeting. This would ideally suit someone who would like to get involved with our club and the activities we offer, who would also be keen to put their financial skills to good use on the committee of management
We are looking for someone who is comfortable using a computer, has experience in managing finances & financial record keeping or someone who has previously undertaken a similar role
Tasks include:
•Produce and distribute a financial report for each committee meeting
•Maintain a set of financial records detailing all receipts and expenditure pertaining to club activities.
• Collect and deposit all monies due to the Club
•Make all payments authorised by the Club
•Prepare an annual financial report for members
•Prepare and submit returns to the ATO for a non-profit organisation
•Manage club finances through online banking
• Provide information and periodical reports to Life Activities Club Victoria
