MACA is seeking a Crushing Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical, maintenance, and operational performance of our fixed plant crusher at W11. This is a full‑time position on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
Reporting to the Crushing Operations Manager, you will run a safe and efficient site, meet client requirements and lead the Crushing team to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities And Duties
* Implement, maintain and manage a systematic routine maintenance and preventive maintenance program.
* Monitor wear parts life (crusher and screen consumables) and report costs monthly.
* Monitor equipment condition to ensure mechanical soundness and efficient operation.
* Daily supervision and coordination of crushing, maintenance and contracting personnel.
* Manage costs against budgets.
* Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the client.
* Provide effective management and administration of the Crushing project to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
* Forecast medium to long‑term crushing development and evaluate progress against objectives.
* Work with MACA and client management on site to determine plant, equipment and labour requirements for efficient utilisation.
* Provide accurate, timely and effective progress reports to the client and MACA management.
* Coach, mentor and give feedback to subordinates.
* Comply with MACA safety, health and environment policies, ‘zero harm’ objective, STAR programme, Fitness For Work policy and MACA vision and core values.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess
* Strong superintendent experience in fixed plant crushing operations.
* Current WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A Grade).
* Section 26 appointment.
* CPR/LVR (valid within 1 year).
* First Aid (valid within 2 years).
* EWP, WAH and confined spaces tickets.
* HR driver’s licence (desirable).
* OH&S construction card.
* Ensuring electrical KPIs in accordance with client contract terms and Thiess/MACA safety systems.
* Implement, maintain and manage systematic routine electrical maintenance programme in liaison with operational requirements.
* Assessment, ordering and monitoring of electrical parts and consumables.
* Report faults and defects of plant promptly.
* Assist in training and learning regime of all Thiess trainees, employees and sub‑contractors and identify suitable development opportunities.
* Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000.
* Sound knowledge of WHS Act/Regulations and Mines Electrical Logbook.
* Highly motivated and able to work independently.
* Proven leadership in maintenance and operational roles.
