On behalf of our client, one of the world's largest oil field services companies, we are currently looking for a Lead Quality Specialist to join their team based in Henderson, Perth on a 9 month contract.
**About this role**
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspection of components throughout the various stages of manufacture and complete all relevant documentation.
- Carry out inspection of raw materials, CPI, material certification and release.
- Carry out NDT witnessing inspections as per specifications and review/endorse relevant reports.
- Inspection and review of radiographs and test reports for piping welds.
- Identify all parts as per customer requirements ensuring full traceability.
- Attend and contribute to the daily inspection and construction meetings.
- Raise and report all non-conformances and ensure the relevant information isrecorded and properly described.
- Ensure all QA/QC operations are completed and signed off as per approved ITP's.
- Assist in the creation of document packs and Dimensional reports review and sign off.
- Support Quality Manager in investigating, resolving, and finding the root cause of any problems which may be causing non-conforming product.
- Drives the implementation of all Company HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Reporting any methods or procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
- Employees are expected to work whatever reasonable hours are necessary to meet therequirements of the project.
**About you**
- Welding Inspection - CSWIP or other qualification.
- NDT Experience - ASNT or PCN.
- Experience in similar fabrication yard environment.
- Subsea equipment manufacturing experience preferred
