Sales Merchandise Role
We are seeking a sales professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about agriculture and customer service.
The role involves developing strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service, and ensuring they have a memorable experience in store or over the phone.
* Perform general administrative tasks, including stock control, ordering, banking, receipting, and dispatching of goods.
* Assist customers with pricing and product queries, and process counter sales.
* Maintain safety processes and ensure a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment.
* Load and unload trucks, dispatch, and unpack orders and deliveries.
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You will have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. Additionally, you will demonstrate:
* Experience working within a sales environment.
* Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
* A proactive approach to work and practical organization skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
* A current driver's license is essential.
* Forklift license desirable but not essential.
