As a local Service Technician, you will be responsible for supporting our customers' operations by carrying out efficient diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to our range of industry-leading mobile equipment used in the mining and construction industries.

The role requires a proactive approach to ensuring machine performance, which will assist our customers to improve their productivity and the success of their operations. To support you, we will supply product training and the support of our dedicated products support personnel.

* Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnostics work on all Sandvik Mining equipment.
* Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.
* Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
* Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time records.

Your Profile
">
We are looking for an individual who:
">
* Is a Mount Isa local or currently residing or willing to relocate to Mount Isa.
* Has an Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification.
* Has demonstrated previous experience with Trucks, Loaders, and Drilling mobile mining equipment (advantageous).
* Demonstrates a strong and proven safety culture.
* Can promote a healthy workplace culture.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Has a strong customer service focus and motivation to achieve targets and goals.
* Is proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrates initiative.
* Has basic computer literacy.
* Hold a Class C Manual Driver's License.
* Can pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks, and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing.
