Pohlmans Nursery is a leading Australian grower with a proud history spanning 50 years. Based on our 175-acre site at Adare in the Lockyer Valley, we supply quality plants nationwide and are known for our scale, expertise, and strong team culture.
We currently have two full-time opportunities available.

Dispatch Coordinator – About the Role
The Propagation Dispatch Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient consolidation, quality control, and delivery of product across Pohlmans’ five (5) nursery divisions. This position is responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities while upholding strict quality standards and supporting the smooth flow of production. Previous nursery, agricultural, or horticultural experience essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute daily dispatch activities in line with the production schedule
* Conduct routine quality checks on all products prior to and at the time of dispatch
* Coordinate and oversee team members responsible for product preparation and stock maintenance, including potting, trimming, spacing, and related tasks
* Manage quarantine requirements for inbound stock, including inspection, evaluation, and identification of potential biosecurity or quality issues
* Coordinate the movement of advanced, tagged, and dump stock
* Operate towing or carry‑all vehicles (training provided)
* Support, mentor, and guide team members and new starters
* Communicate effectively with Stock Coordinators, Growers, Production Schedulers, and Division Managers to ensure seamless workflow and timely product delivery
Field Assistant - About the role
As a Field Assistant, you will support the Field Supervisor in coordinating and maintaining efficient work output across the field teams. This role involves ensuring that stock is accurately positioned in the required locations within set timeframes, supporting smooth production flow. Previous nursery or horticultural experience desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with daily field plans and work schedules
* Moving and positioning stock and benches to support packing and production
* Maintaining plant and bench order within glasshouses & in the field
* Ensuring stock is spaced correctly and accessible when required
* Coordinating movement of advanced, tagged, or dump stock
* Assisting with general nursery and field duties
* Using towing or carry-all vehicles (training provided)
* Supporting and mentoring team members and new starters
* Communicating effectively with Supervisors, Growers, and Stock Control
