Rehabilitation Consultant - Provisional Psych/Rehab Counsellor

We work with our clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them live life to its fullest potential. Our team of highly skilled allied health professionals and employment consultants include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellors.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants;
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
* Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
* Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
* Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities.
Your Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling;
* General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
* Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
* Fabulous communication skills and compassion; empathy, time management skills are a must.
* A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
