Join UniSQ's Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team and play a vital role in shaping students' transition from study to career. As a WIL Coordinator, you'll work at the heart of student employability - partnering with academic staff, industry and professional teams to deliver high-quality placement experiences that build practical skills, professional confidence and work readiness. What you'll do

In this role you'll be at the centre of connecting study with practice, coordinating placement experiences that prepare students for the realities of their future professions. Every day you'll work closely with students, academics and industry partners to ensure placements are well organised, compliant and supportive of learning and accreditation requirements. Your expertise and guidance will be central to delivering a high-quality, student-centred WIL program with your contribution directly shaping student success

In your first 6–12 months you will:

* Coordinate end-to-end placement processes, including pre-placement checks, documentation and compliance requirements
* Support students and host organisations throughout the placement lifecycle, resolving issues and providing timely guidance
* Build strong relationships with academic staff and industry partners to secure quality placement opportunities
* Contribute to continuous improvement of WIL processes and systems to enhance efficiency and the student experience

You'll help students step confidently into professional environments, ensuring they meet accreditation requirements while gaining skills employers value. Your work will strengthen partnerships with industry, improve placement quality and play a key part in UniSQ's commitment to employability and career-ready graduates.

What will help you succeed

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy coordinating complex activities, supporting students and working collaboratively with industry partners to deliver high-quality placement experiences. You'll bring sound judgement, initiative and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement, with a focus on creating positive outcomes for students and stakeholders.

You'll be supported by:

* A degree with experience in work integrated learning, clinical placement coordination, student administration, or a related education/health environment or an equivalent combination of experience and training
* Experience coordinating professional placements, including managing pre-placement requirements, compliance and accreditation obligations (health or nursing context desirable)
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Ability to provide guidance to WIL Officers to support consistent service delivery
* Proven ability to provide timely, student-focused advice and resolve placement issues collaboratively
* Sound written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using administrative systems to manage placement data with strong attention to detail and privacy compliance
* Flexibility and adaptability in a changing, high-volume environment
* Eligibility to apply for, or hold, a Blue Card

Salary: Total remuneration range $108,559 to $117,574 pa (includes salary range of $91,553 to $99,155 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
