About Us
Raceview State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6 from the suburbs of Raceview, Flinders View and Ripley in Ipswich. The school has a strong focus on academic achievement and providing our students with the best possible learning environment.
We emphasise recognition of appropriate behaviour through our school wide rewards program and this has impacted on the learning environment in a positive way. Our staff are professional, dedicated, experienced and committed to working closely with students and their families to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for every student.
Culturally, our school has a strong music and sporting program that has resulted in the achievement of a number of awards.
A number of students from Defence Force families are enrolled in our school. To assist Defence students and families, a transition teacher aide is employed to support the changes experienced at this time.
