Our client is one of Australia's leading equipment hire companies. We are seeking to employ a Customer focused Hire Controller to join the team at the Labrador branch.
About the role
* Deal with on-line and telephone enquiries and orders from customers
* Ensure that equipment is available, maintained and ready to be delivered
* Use of BasePlan (hire industry software)
* Process manual paperwork when necessary
* Operate and maintain the daily diary recording of all equipment including the reporting
Qualifications
* Previous proven experience in a similar role
* Microsoft Office software experience (basic-intermediate level)
* You must be able to communicate clearly, take & follow directions and be proactive in the workplace
* A current QLD driver's licence (Open, Manual)
* Able to complete manual tasks - the role will involve manual lifting, bending, squatting, and kneeling
* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
* Able to commit to working Monday to Friday
* You must be very OH&S; aware and willing to commit to quality and safety procedures and work instructions.
