Overview Brisbane-based senior leadership role within a Infrastructure Program for the Queensland Government, managing a program exceeding $100M annually. The role oversees a diverse portfolio including business services, information management, and infrastructure portfolio management. Reporting directly to the Assistant Commissioner and part of the Command Leadership Team, the role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead high‑performing teams in a fast-paced environment. About the Client Our client is a key Queensland Government agency with a clear vision to enhance community safety. The Infrastructure Command supports this mission by managing major infrastructure assets and projects across facilities, fleet, security systems, property services, and asset management. About the Role This senior leadership role will oversee a diverse portfolio including: Business Services – HR, procurement, finance, and governance Information Management – reporting, document control, and SharePoint systems Infrastructure Portfolio Management – asset planning, scheduling, and budget management Key relationship: reports to the Assistant Commissioner and sits on the Command Leadership Team. The role requires strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Key Responsibilities Lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering corporate and business services Oversee governance, financial management, procurement, and compliance frameworks Manage information systems and reporting tools, including SharePoint Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives across the Command Provide strategic advice, analysis, and reporting to senior executives and government stakeholders Build strong internal and external partnerships to align infrastructure planning and delivery About You / Qualifications Senior leadership experience in business or corporate services, ideally in a construction, infrastructure, or project delivery environment Knowledge of asset management, project planning, procurement frameworks, and financial governance Strong experience with information/document management systems (e.g. SharePoint, version control) Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and building collaborative relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing high-level reports, business cases, and Ministerial briefs Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commercial, Project Management, or Construction Management (government procurement/document management qualifications desirable) Please apply by submitting an up-to-date resume via the “apply now” button.
