We are currently seeking a
Technical Lead
to join the team as a consultant on a
12-month contract
. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative initiatives while continuing to support and enhance critical legacy applications and systems within a complex enterprise environment.
The Role
As Technical Lead, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while guiding development best practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into application features and technical designs
* Design and implement new application features as part of ongoing enhancements
* Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
* Ensure adherence to technical design standards, code review processes, quality practices, and monitoring guidelines
* Perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing
* Apply development standards and recognised technical design patterns
* Stay current with evolving technologies, standards, and methodologies
* Actively participate in IT team ceremonies and processes
Skills & Experience Required
* 5+ years' experience in
C# .NET development
* Strong background in
application and solution design
* Experience with
Azure
,
microservices
, and
AKS
* Hands-on experience with
on-prem servers
, networking, and off-the-shelf software solutions, including vendor collaboration
* Strong SQL experience (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL)
* Experience working within
Agile
delivery environments
Nice to Have
* Exposure to
AWS
and/or
Python
* Previous experience within the
energy market
or related domains
