Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees across all departments. Responsibilities:
End-User Support
* Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, network, and email systems.
* Respond to and resolve IT helpdesk tickets promptly, escalating to the Managed Service Provider (MSP) as needed.
* Delegate the configuration and management of user accounts, profiles, and access permissions for employees to the MSP.
* Support remote employees with connectivity and technical issues
IT Operations
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Maintain and monitor company IT infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient operations.
* Assist in the management of hardware and software inventory.
* Conduct routine updates and patch management for all systems.
Wi-Fi and Network Support
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Wi-Fi networks to ensure reliable connectivity across office locations.
* Configure and maintain wireless access points and related infrastructure.
* Collaborate with senior IT staff and MSPs on network security tasks, including firewalls, VPN setup, and Wi-Fi security protocols.
Project and Committee Participation
* Participate actively in the Technology Committee, providing input and recommendations for technology improvements.
* Assist with IT-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new system implementations.
M&A and Onboarding Support
* Play a key role in IT onboarding for new joiners, ensuring all systems, accounts, and equipment are set up efficiently.
* Assist with the IT integration of acquired companies, including:
* Data migration and consolidation.
* Assessment and upgrading of IT infrastructure.
* Deployment of new systems and technologies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to review and optimise IT processes during transitions.
