Community Engagement Advisor | Community Bank Carrum Downs | VIC
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Community Engagement Advisor to make a positive impact within the local community. This role involves aligning activities with the branch business plan, building a pipeline of prospects, and fostering community relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating and administrating community grants and sponsorship programs, including reporting and evaluation.
2. Promoting and communicating the community banking model to grant applicants.
3. Engaging with the local community, networking, and organizing relationships, partnerships, and events with the board and branch management.
4. Sharing stories through various channels to highlight community work.
This is a permanent, part-time position supporting both Carrum Downs and Marriott Waters branches, with a roster of 18-24 hours per week, offering flexibility. Occasional attendance at community events outside normal hours is required.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have an understanding and established connection with the local community.
- Possess strong customer service and experience ethos.
- Be able to maintain effective relationships and networks.
- Have effective communication skills to share the Community Bank story.
- Be organized with excellent time management skills.
- Be responsible for creating and posting content on social media platforms.
- Work independently and have project or event management experience (desirable).
- Be confident with technology and digital tools.
