**About the Role**
An exciting newly created opportunity has become available within BOQ Groups' Retail Banking Division!
Supporting the Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank brands, this role will work across initiatives from remediation and compliance to change and transformation. They'll be responsible for ensuring our communications to customers are always well crafted, clear and timely.
As a newly created position, there is plenty of room for growth as we build our Operational Customer Communications function for the Group. The role would suit an experienced Communications Specialist who is looking for their next challenge.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the effective and efficient delivery of customer communications in alignment with the Group, Retail Bank and Communications, Change and Continuous Improvement team strategies
- Manage strategic execution of the Retail Communications Plan to engage customers of BOQ, Virgin Money and ME to ensure consistent, predictable messages are delivered through established communications channels
- Create programs, materials and coaching to support customers to influence positive change adoption through the Bank's change and continuous improvement agenda
- Plan and deliver engaging and impactful communications campaigns aligned to the change and transformation calendar
- Bring creativity and innovation to the development of communications materials and experiences tailored to each of our distinct brand personas and fit-for-purpose for each of our varied customer audiences
- Coordinate and deliver communications materials including EDMs, letters, SMS, web content, social content, intranet articles and virtual and live events using Sharepoint, Teams and Outlook
**About you**
- Previous experience in a retail or service industry with a large frontline team
- Proven experience creating and delivering strategic communications plans within complex, multi-brand organisations
- Ability to influence and change behaviour using communications campaigns and tactics
- Track record of measuring impact and using data and insights to drive future decision-making
- Tertiary or industry qualification in Communications, Journalism or Marketing related fields will be viewed favourably
- Success in managing a broad variety of communications projects with competing priorities.
