About the role
We are seeking a talented Stonemason & Stone Benchtop Installer to join our team at Banks Benchtops in Archerfield, Queensland. These are full-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise in the stonemasonry industry. You will be responsible for the manufacture and professional installation of high-quality stone benchtops and other stone-based products in residential and commercial properties.
What you'll be doing
* Carefully measure, cut, manufacturing and install kitchen stone benchtops, vanities, and other stone fixtures to exacting standards
* Collaborate closely with clients and team members to ensure a seamless process from manufacture to installation
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during manufacture or the installation process
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment both in the factory and onsite, adhering to all relevant safety protocols
* Fabrication of stone products in our factory as required
What we're looking for
* Several years of experience as a qualified Stonemason or Stone Benchtop Installer
* Excellent knowledge of stone types, fabrication, installation techniques and industry best practices
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address any challenges that may arise
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
* A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
