About the role
Front Counter Sales role is a full-time position located in Townsville, QLD 4810. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales support to customers visiting our building supplies retail store.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting customers and assisting them with product inquiries and purchases
* Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our product range and availability
* Efficiently processing customer payments and ensuring accurate record-keeping
* Restocking and organizing the sales floor to maintain a neat and appealing presentation
* Responding to customer feedback and resolving any issues in a professional manner
* Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the building supplies industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
* Excellent numeracy and computer skills, with the ability to operate point-of-sale systems
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A positive, friendly and helpful attitude, with a genuine desire to assist customers
