About the Role
We're seeking a capable and motivated Experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Brisbane team.
In this role you will plan, analyse, and deliver geotechnical engineering solutions for moderate‐complexity projects, ensuring technical excellence, project efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
* Deliver geotechnical analysis, design, and site investigation tasks in line with relevant standards and client requirements
* Plan and conduct engineering projects of reasonable complexity
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure quality, coordination, and timely delivery
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and proposals for small to medium‐sized projects
* Manage project scope, risks, and priorities across multiple assignments
* Contribute to the commercial success of projects and team performance
* Apply sound project management principles to achieve deliverables on time and to standard
* Support and guide junior engineers where required
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical preferred)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in geotechnical design and site investigations
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and geotechnical practices
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
* Experience preparing technical documentation and reports
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Client‐focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations
* Proficiency with relevant engineering software and general computer applications
