Senior Contracts Professional
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Contracts Professional to lead the commercial and contractual aspects of our project.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with main contract requirements.
* Administer contracts, including preparation of flow-downs to subcontracts and purchase orders.
* Manage notifications, variations, extensions of time, progress claims, and settlements with clients.
* Support Management of Change processes and ensure contractual compliance.
* Assist with preparation and evaluation of Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages.
* Facilitate risk workshops, maintain project risk registers, and provide input to project reporting.
* Support procurement and subcontracting teams with negotiation, claims, and dispute resolution.
* Oversee lump-sum contracts and contribute to joint venture arrangements as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Commerce, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
* Minimum 10 years' experience in contracts management in the energy or infrastructure sectors.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial principles, and industry standards.
* Proven experience managing lump-sum and joint venture contracts.
* Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
