Role Overview
The Team Leader (Co-Responder) role is a critical position within the Queensland Government, responsible for supervising a team of professional staff across Mount Isa. The team's primary goal is to provide high-quality and culturally appropriate services to children and young people, their families, and communities, with a focus on preventing offending and reducing re-offending.
The Co-Responders work collaboratively as part of the Co-Responder Team, comprising staff from the Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support and the Queensland Police Service (QPS). They provide support and coordinate service delivery to ensure required actions and referrals for young people at risk are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.
