Job Description
* Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including origination, evaluation, execution, and integration
* Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment papers
* Conduct commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence on potential targets
* Prepare board-level presentations and investment committee materials
* Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, and operations to assess growth opportunities
* Support post-merger integration and value creation initiatives
* Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and potential acquisition targets
* Build and manage relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, consultants, and legal firms
The Successful Applicant
* 3-4 years' experience within a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g. MBB, Big 4 Strategy, Tier 2)
* 2-3 years' experience within a corporate environment (corporate development, strategy, or FP&A)
* Strong experience in M&A, transactions, or strategic project delivery
* Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
* Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
* Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive or board level
* Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, or a related discipline (MBA/CFA highly regarded)
