Role Description
With a solid pipeline of projects, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to support our North Queensland division on a full-time basis, based in Townsville. Reporting to the Director, you will join a highly skilled, collaborative team to deliver some of the region's most significant construction projects.
Our diverse portfolio spans health, aviation, university, independent schools, aged care, social housing and industrial sectors. Current project roles include development management, early design/ project management, delivery phase administration/ superintendency, and general capital works planning and advisory.
About you
This role is suited to an experienced and results-driven Project Manager who thrives in dynamic environments, excels at stakeholder engagement, and delivers exceptional outcomes from concept through to completion. You will bring:
Proven client-side project management expertise (preferably in building construction), strategic thinking and a solutions-focused mindset to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and aligned with organisational objectives.
A strong track record of successful project delivery, including major capital works, in live, operational or sensitive environments (preferred).
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, coupled with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
High-level knowledge of WHS requirements, construction legislation, risk management and compliance frameworks.
Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
