The role
An opportunity exists for an experienced General Manager to lead one of regional NSW's most ambitious hospitality businesses. Located on the Mid North Coast, this high-volume operation processes more than 1,000 transactions per day and is on track to exceed $9M in annual revenue. The business incorporates multiple revenue streams including café dining, artisan bakery, specialty coffee, retail food and events. Reporting directly to the Owner, this role requires a highly organised and commercially disciplined operator who can lead people, manage complexity and drive performance through systems, reporting and accountability. The Opportunity You will assume full operational and commercial responsibility for the business, including: Full P&L ownership, including labour, cost of goods, revenue and EBITDA performance Labour forecasting, workforce planning and roster management across a team of 70 Weekly KPI reporting and performance analysis Inventory, ordering and stock control management Supplier management and cost control initiatives Operational systems, process improvement and compliance Leadership and development of front-of-house management and support teams Driving accountability through structured reporting rhythms and performance management Supporting growth across events, retail and expanded trading opportunities About You Proven experience leading teams of 60–100 employees Demonstrated responsibility for a venue or business generating $6M-$15M annually Strong financial literacy and confidence managing detailed P&L reporting Experience with labour forecasting, workforce planning and KPI-driven management Strong systems orientation and operational discipline High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills A hands-on leadership style focused on accountability, coaching and execution Experience within high-volume hospitality destinations, multi-site QSR operations, large cafés, hospitality precincts, or multi-revenue food businesses will be highly regarded.
