Redpath Partners are representing a well-established privately owned civil contractor who work across earthworks, drainage and roading projects. Having a steady and secure pipeline of work they're looking for a hand-on Project Engineer who wants to work with an experience Contract Manager to deliver a number of key projects for the business. You'll be a driven individual who want to join a high-performing team that deliver quality civil infrastructure across the Central Otago region. About the Role You'll mainly be involved in the delivery phase however you will have the opportunity deal with, estimate, project financials and subcontractor variations. You’ll play a key role in project scheduling, sub-contract management and working with the site teams to ensure high standards and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Track and report project progress using financial and non-financial metrics Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules Conduct environmental and health & safety compliance monitoring Prepare project claims and assist in survey and field testing tasks Drive improvements in systems, processes, and project outcomes About You You are a confident communicator, strong problem-solver, and natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. You'll bring a hands-on approach with a high level of technical competency and demonstrate basic financial acumen.
