Electronics Repair Technician Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team dedicated to recycling technology. As an Electronics Repair Technician, you will be at the forefront of inspecting, testing and repairing hardware such as printers, power supplies, motors, LCD and touch screens.
Responsibilities
* Inspect and test parts received for repair, recording findings and implementing repair procedures as needed.
* Analyze data gathered from returned parts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Maintain a clean, organized workspace that adheres to ESD standards.
* Deliver training to local technicians on correct handling, fault finding and potential field repair options.
* Suggest and implement performance-improving actions across the Reverse Vending Machine portfolio.
* Test repair parts according to internal quality standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in electronics repair.
* Previous hands-on or field experience.
* Certificate III level qualification in an electronics trade or higher education qualification directly related to the work carried out.
* Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate preferred.
* A strong interest in emerging technology and environmentalism.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Prioritized approach to safety.
