About the Role
Plan, deliver and report on a wide range of additional works and major repairs ensuring every project meets our high standards of safety, quality, time and cost. Working within an established IR&M team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and Transurban to deliver outstanding outcomes.
What you will doing
* Plan, tender and deliver additional works across civil, mechanical, electrical and HVAC disciplines
* Manage project performance (incl. cost, program, risk, SHEQ, stakeholder reporting)
* Prepare RFQs, develop project proposals and apply governance requirements
* Lead subcontractor engagement ensuring compliance with permits, standards and traffic management
* Monitor project controls, maintain accurate AMIS and Smartsheets records and submit monthly claims on time
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future work
* Build strong stakeholder relationships with Transurban, subcontractors and Ventia's multidisciplinary teams
Required Skills and Experience
Experience delivering transport infrastructure, road or tunnel maintenance projects.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project/Business Management or related fields
* Strong understanding of estimating, project controls, cost management and AS2124 contracts
* Proven safety leadership and ability to manage SHEQ requirements across work sites
* Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications
* Commercial acumen with experience delivering to KPIs and managing P&L at the project level
* Be able to participate in an on-call roster to support urgent operational needs
