Lead Spend Categories Strategist
You will be responsible for managing allocated indirect spend categories and contributing to key programs related to this strategically important sector.
This role requires you to work with diverse stakeholders across multiple business units to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier performance.
* Support category management strategies across IT, facilities, legal, finance, fleet, and other allocated categories.
* Assist stakeholders in supply chain and procurement activities including cost optimisation, purchasing, forecasting, and risk management.
* Contribute knowledge of supplier markets to improve competitive advantage and service outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in a business or engineering discipline or equivalent experience, solid experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain, and demonstrated experience contributing to business or project procurement activities.
A successful candidate will have exposure to integration and transformation programs, experience with procurement and supply chain models within ERP systems, and knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, procurement, and supplier engagement practices.
The ideal candidate will also possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration skills, and a results-oriented approach.
