LDK Seniors' Living's flagship village, Greenway Views, is located in Tuggeranong opposite the South Point shopping complex. Our village consists of 327 apartments and is home to nearly 400 residents. Covering over 6,000 square meters of communal space and facilitating social connectedness - we are proud of our vibrant village community. About the Role
The Village Care Manager provides clinical and operational leadership and oversight of the team responsible for the delivery of nursing and care services to residents. The role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centered high-quality care whilst ensuring that legislative requirements are met and the care is aligned with LDK values.
The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday during the hours of 0830am – 1700pm, please note this position is strictly Full-Time.
Role responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
* Provide clinical and administrative oversight of the nursing and care team responsible for the delivery of care to residents
* Delivery of safe, high-quality care that is person centered and aligned with regulatory compliance and organisational values.
* Clinical oversight of nursing and care services across the village including escalation of risks and SIRS
* Oversight of complex resident care delivery (in collaboration with Village Head of Care / Care Governance).
* Lead and participate in case conferencing as required.
* Coordinate, facilitate, document nurse call (EEVI) meetings.
* Liaise with rostering team to ensure safe and effective rostering.
* Liaise with GPs and Nurse practitioners.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered nurse with minimum five (5) years' experience
* AHPRA registration
* Previous experience in a clinical leadership role
