Yes No Selection Criteria Selection Criteria 1: Tertiary qualification in materials conservation and three years continuous paintings conservation experience, OR at least 5 years' paintings conservation experience working under the supervision of an experienced, qualified conservator at a museum, art gallery or commercial practice. Selection Criteria 2: Demonstrated extensive experience in paintings conservation including assessments, treatments, and exhibition preparation from museum and gallery collections. Selection Criteria 3: Ability to provide advice and expertise in current paintings conservation practice, including museum climatology, disaster planning and recovery, collection management, environmental monitoring, integrated pest management, collection handling, storage, and display. Selection Criteria 4: Proven ability to work efficiently and harmoniously in a multi-disciplinary team with a range of professional, technical, and administrative staff to achieve objectives, support, and collaborate on complex projects. Selection Criteria 5: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills at institutional, government, and community levels, including the ability to prepare high-quality documentation and reports, and respond to enquiries. Selection Criteria 6: High-level knowledge of current conservation principles, ethics, and practices as per the AICCM Code of Ethics and international standards. Selection Criteria 7: Strong organizational skills to manage workload across multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Selection Criteria 8: Proven ability in using Collections Management Systems for documentation. Selection Criteria 9: Knowledge of WHS standards and safe practices related to collections handling and treatment. Desirable Criteria 1: Membership of AICCM.
