In this strategic role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing transmission line and substation infrastructure projects, positioning this global company as a key player in grid modernization and energy transition. You’ll drive growth initiatives and foster sustainable relationships with industry, utility, and government stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in transmission network upgrades and substation developments.Develop and maintain strong relationships with utilities, network operators, EPCs, government bodies, and industry associations.Lead negotiations and execution of commercial agreements related to transmission and substation projects, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial standards.Oversee planning and development of transmission and substation projects, from feasibility and technical assessments to resource allocation, budgeting, and KPI tracking.Collaborate with internal engineering, legal, and finance teams to deliver high-voltage infrastructure solutions on time and within budget.QualificationsProven business development experience in the transmission, substation, or broader energy infrastructure sector, with strong commercial insight.Experience managing contract lifecycles, including negotiation and execution of NDAs, MOUs, and SPAs related to infrastructure development.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and results-driven mindset.BenefitsSydney-based permanent full-time role.Established business in the energy infrastructure sector with a strong pipeline of transmission and substation projects.Collaborative work environment with a clear strategic focus on grid resilience and energy transition.Career development opportunities within a global organization.
