Job Description
The Accounts Receivable & Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts receivable function within the school. This includes preparing, issuing, and processing invoices related to school fees and other charges.
This role also provides support to the Finance Manager in managing the school's financial operations. The officer will require excellent customer service, support and effective communication with parents and families regarding payment options, following up on outstanding payments.
Additionally, the officer will assist with payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with statutory obligations. Investigative and problem-solving skills are essential to this role, contributing to the overall financial health and budgetary processes of the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Accounting and/or bookkeeping qualifications and/or experience within a similar size and complex organisation.
* Previous experience in accounts receivable (or payable) and coordinating the issuing and receipting of invoices.
* A sound understanding of budgetary and financial management principles, and statutory and compliance obligations.
* Well-developed ICT skills, including accurate data entry and use and management of financial data systems/software.
* Sound communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to provide high-level customer service support related to students, parents, members of the community and staff members with professionalism.
* An attention to detail and proven ability for accurate data entry and processing of accounts.
