We have exciting opportunities available for immediate start within our Villages in the Gunnedah Basin in Regional NSW.
About the Role
Our Facilities Attendants are responsible for general maintenance work, grounds maintenance and garbage collection around our villages to keep them tidy and presentable for our valued guests.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
* Current LF Forklift Licence
* Prior work experience in a similar position such as grounds work or maintenance
* Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments, ideally working outdoors
* Capability to work well under pressure
* Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role
* Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
* A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
* Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
* Fantastic communication skills
* Remote work experience (highly regarded)
* Class C, Manual Driver's Licence (highly regarded)

Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
People:
To understand annual personal and company objectives and to take part in regular appraisal processes to assess performance and provide feedback to management.
To undertake technical and other training as required, and to attend periodic team and individual meetings as required.
To always apply safe work practices to contribute to the safety culture at Civeo.
Customers:
To deliver excellent services to the Management team, in a timely manner, consistent with all relevant quality standards.
To facilitate and maintain a safe environment for our customers.
Process:
To maintain the dining room in a clean and hygienic condition.
To ensure that customers are greeted in a friendly and professional manner in the dining room, bar and retail outlets.
To undertake vegetable preparation.
To assist in setting up food service areas for meal service.
To clean floors, furniture and equipment.
To unload and store stock and supplies.
To undertake regular waste collection in kitchen and dining areas.
To record food waste.
To wash dishes, kitchen equipment and utensils after meal service.
To maintain cleanliness in service area on a continuous basis.
To maintain the highest possible standard of hygiene and presentation of food in the crib room.
To stock shelves in bar and retail outlets, and to store incoming deliveries.
To serve on counters in the retail and bar outlets, handling cash and taking payments.
To record pest sightings.
To report any equipment maintenance or replacement to the Village Manager.
To undertake servicing of rooms as directed on a daily or weekly basis.
To undertake full service of rooms for new arrivals.
To clean ablution and laundry facilities.
To carry out linen changes.
To report all room maintenance issues to the Village Manager.
To unpack and ensure adequate storage of stock and supplies.
To maintain cleaning equipment to an acceptable standard.
To strip and polish floors in rooms and common areas.
To clean room and facility windows.
To undertake general repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities and buildings.
To carry out gardening duties.
To ensure regular collection and maintenance of waste throughout site.
To keep all work areas, storage areas and workshops in a tidy, safe and professional condition.
To ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss events.
To follow Standard Operating Procedures in all relevant areas of the Village and to contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures.
To use simple IT systems and cash collection systems as necessary.
Finance:
To facilitate random and programmed audits of the Village.
Other:
Any other required duties appropriate to the scope, nature and seniority of the role.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Professional Qualifications:
Grade 10 standard of education with ability to read, write and perform numerical calculations commensurate with the duties of the position.
Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
Manual Drivers licence, Class C.
Experience:
At least 6 months' work experience of similar work, preferably in the commercial hospitality industry (retail, bar, hotel or restaurant).
Experience of cleaning in a food environment and/or housekeeping environment.
Experience of cash handling (desirable).
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
Knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance, including responsibilities to self, other persons and property, including the safe operation of plant and equipment and manual handling.
Knowledge of equipment and materials routinely used in retail, bar and restaurant operations.
Knowledge of equipment and materials routinely used in Facilities Operations (e.g. ride on mower, push mower, whipper snipper, blower, high pressure hose, small parts).
