Job Description
The Carer Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in a fast-paced environment.
This may involve working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Qualifications in Community Services, Youth Work, or related fields, and/or relevant experience and knowledge in the Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) sector.
2. Experience in using assessment tools such as the ACWA Step by Step tool.
3. Strong relationship-building skills, enabling effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
5. Facilitation of Shared Lives training or group-based training.
6. CURRENT Australian Driver's Licence.
7. National Police Check prior to commencing the role.
8. NDIS workers screening check, if applicable.
9. Valid rights to work in Australia.
