**The Opportunity**
As a Billing Consultant, you will be responsible providing best in class customer service to our merchants relating to any billing activities and queries. This role reports into the Head of Billing, Field and Logistics.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities include**
- Performing outbound calls to customers where billing cycles have failed or the customer in arrears
- Involvement in data analysis to identify any financial mismatches associated with the billing cycle
- Focusing on delivering quality customer outcomes in every interaction
- Assisting the Head of Billing with any reporting requirements
- Ensuring all procedure guides and work instructions are kept up to date
- Active involvement in team meetings
- Proactively identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities to enhance the end to end process
- Involvement in projects and stakeholder forums as required
- Training of other team members as required
**Skills we can't do without**:
- Previous customer services experience in the financial services / payments industry (2 years)
- Experience with workflow management and phone based systems
- High level of attention to detail
- Robust communication skills including the ability to hold challenging conversations with customers
- Ability to work with data and identify trends
- Solid problem solving skills
